Day 01:- Wayanad
Morning arrive at Wayanad. After breakfast proceed to Edakkal Cave. This natural cave lie 1,200 metres above sea level on Ambukutty Hill. This cave contains carvings made in the time of old age and neolithic period. This cave have a history of 5000 years. After visit in Edakkal proceed to Heritage museum situated in Ambalavayal. There you can explore the entire Wayanad history. Later proceed to visit Soochippara waterfall. this 150 ft fall located in a forest near to Meppadi town. Pool at the foot of the falls is ideal for a quick dip. The more restrained can have equally good fun just taking in the scenery. After sightseeing return to hotel/homestay overnight at Wayanad
Day 02:- Wayanad
After breakfast proceed for trucking in Chembra peak. It is the highest peak in Wayanad, at 2,100 metres (6,900 ft) above sea level. A heart shaped lake on the way to the top of the peak is a major tourist attraction. The lake is believed to have never dried up. You can find the lake halfway to the peak, after getting to the lake you need to trek another halfway, which is through the dense trees of about two km. After trekking in Chembra visit Pookode lake. This natural lake is located in a forest surrounded by tree filled hills. boating is the main attraction of this place. Later spend few minutes in Lakkidi View Point. Day 03:-Wayanad
After breakfast drive Kuruvadweep. kuruva is a small island laid in the tributes of Kabani river with an area of 950 acres. There you can find the collection of rere types orchids and herbs. After visit in Kuruva move to Muthanga wild life sanctuary. This sanctuary is a part of Neelagiri biosphere. Elephants roam freely here and tigers are sighted occasionally. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc also live here. The Reserve is also home to a small population of tigers, a profusion of birds, butterflies and insects.
