Day 01:- Wayanad

Reach Wayanad at 7.00am. After freshup and breakfast proceed to visit Edakkal Cave. This natural cave lie 1,200 metres above sea level on Ambukutty Hill. This cave contains carvings made in the time of old age and neolithic period. This cave have a history of 5000 years. After visit in Edakkal proceed to Heritage museum situated in Ambalavayal. There you can explore the entire Wayanad history. Later proceed to visit Soochippara waterfall. this 150 ft fall located in a forest near to Meppadi town. Pool at the foot of the falls is ideal for a quick dip. The more restrained can have equally good fun just taking in the scenery.

Proceed back to your hotel/Homestay for the overnight stay. Overnight at the Wayanad

Day 02:- Wayanad

After breakfast drive Kuruvadweep. kuruva is a small island laid in the tributes of Kabani river with an area of 950 acres. There you can find the collection of rere types orchids and herbs. After Kuruva move to visit Banasura Sagar Dam. This dam considered as the second largest earth dam of Asia. Tourist can enjoy boating in this dam. After this spot move to Pookode Lake. Set in a beautiful valley and surrounded by evergreen forests and wooded hills, Pookode is one of Wayanad’s top visitor draws. This natural lake near Lakkidi is just a short distance off the National Highway 212.
