Day 01: Chennai- Wayanad - Our Tour Starts from Calicut (Kozhikode)

Morning pick up from Calicut and journey to Wayanad

Arrive at Wayanad at 8.30 am. After fresh up proceed to visit  Edakkal Cave. Edakkal Cave is a natural cave situated in Western Ghat’s Ambukuthi hill region. It lies above 1200mtr from sea level.There you can see the Neolithic and Old age civilization’s carvings and writings. After this spot move to the  Soochippara Waterfalls.

After sightseeing return to Hotel/Home stay

Day 02: Wayanad

After breakfast trek to Chembra Peak with a packed lunch. At 2100 metres, the spectacular Chembra Peak located towards the southern part of Wayanad is the tallest summit in the region. Climbing this peak is a challenging mountaineering endeavor and would take a full day. Evening visit  Pookode Lake, Set in a beautiful valley and surrounded by evergreen forests and wooded hills, Pookode is one of the Wayanad’s top visitor draws.

Proceed back to your hotel/Homestay for the overnight stay.

Day 03: Wayanad

Before Breakfast Jungle safari to Muthanga wildlife sanctuary. It is a rain forest reserve connected to two other major sanctuaries: Bandipur National Park in Karnataka and Mudumalai Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu. Afternoon Visit Thusharagiri Waterfall. Thusaharagiri water fall is located in the Western ghat’s wally. This stream originating from the western ghats and joint with Chaliyar river. This three steped waterfall have a height of 75 mtr.This spot provides a wide scope for trucking, natural walk,bird watching….etc.

Evening Depart to Calicut at 4.PM.
